Hundreds of homes will receive free energy for a minimum of 10 years under a major UK housing initiative.
Octopus Energy is launching 300 “Zero Bills” homes in Wisbech with Prosperity Group, promising residents no energy costs for at least a decade.
The homes will feature solar panels, heat pumps and battery storage, with completion expected in 2028. Prices have not yet been announced.
The project comes as the UK energy price cap sits at £1,641 and is forecast to rise, increasing pressure on households. Octopus has already approved over 6,000 Zero Bills homes and is targeting 100,000 by 2030, amid growing demand for energy-efficient living.
